Site Survey/Audit
Every project, whether wired or wireless, begins with
a thorough site survey. We hold a comprehensive requirements review with the
client, to ensure that all design and performance criteria are understood in
advance. PCC Network Solutions will perform a thorough site survey of the defined service area to confirm the desired cable drop
counts, distances, cable pathways, data and voice network requirements, or
wireless coverage areas and equipment location. Based on the actual field
measurements, PCC Network Solutions will validate the scope against the initial
design and adjust and optimize as required to ensure the deliverables meet the
client requirements. We will generate a report outlining results of the survey and recommendations on deployment, including cable drop locations, data center and office equipment locations, and with wireless networks, potential
interference issues, wireless equipment location, recommended RF channel
assignments (in the case of Wi-Fi) and RF signal mapping, power requirements,
and other related configuration information. PCC Network Solutions can also perform an audit of your newly installed or existing communications infrastructure, to enable you to
